That just doesn't look like a president to me.
Haven't we had 8 years of the guy who would do shots at a bar to prove that he's "just one of the guys*"? Why would we elect that again?
The dumbest thing that Obama has done is to bowl poorly. I just don't think that they're equitable. He's a leader. She's a joke.
Obama is running on a campaign of change. Change of the system. Change of your expectations. Change to what actual "leadership" is. A focused goal to raise the standards for our government and for ourselves.
Clinton is running on a campaign of "how bad Barack Obama is". By hawk-eyeing his every move and then making a full-blown production number of every out-of-context gaffe, she's speaking less about her own capabilities than she is about trying to tear him down.
And that's not leadership.
That's "Slash & Burn", Republican-style politicizing.
And it's what we've had for the last 8 years. It doesn't get me excited about her potential as the leader of our country, in a critical rebuilding time, at all. She's reminding us, on a daily basis, that she believes in and is restrained by the soul-crushing, mud-slinging, lowest-common-denominator system of campaigning that the Republicans have instituted. She exemplifies the very system that he's turning his back on and attempting to change.
Take another look at that picture.
Is that who you want running this country for the next 4 to 8 years?

and yet Obama has yet to tell us how he's really going to change things... concrete plans, ideas... not just talking points. and how he's going to deal with a congress that is well entrenched in the old way of doing things and quite content (to our own loss) to keep on keeping on. Heck even Mr. Smith couldn't do it, and that was like 60+ years ago.
Change is great, change is needed... but reality has to come into play sometime.
Not saying Hilary is the answer... me, I'm holding out hope that the super delegates basically tell them both the stuff it and put forth Al Gore...

Those are Republican talking points. Obama HAS said what he plans to do as president.
Increase taxes on salaries over $200,000. Begin bringing home troops from Iraq, end the stop-loss programs. Work with other countries in the Middle East and in NATO to invest in Iraq's stability. (Because we can't afford to keep going it alone.)
He's going to regulate big business again. Putting forth laws to force companies to be environment conscious. He'll put forth laws that will force companies to be accountable to the communities that they negatively affect.
He'll also hold investigations to the possible illegalities of the current administration. (FINALLY!)
And he IS a non-partisaned candidate. All of the bitterness for the opposing party is not there. He doesn't agree with John McCain and Bush, but he doesn't stoop to personal attacks. He doesn't negatively campaign. He moves forward with the assumption that other people will agree with him on what's best for our country and get on board. He expects the best from people.
Don't take this the wrong way, but you need to go digging a little deeper into the policies that all three candidates are putting forward. They ALL THREE have said what they concretely plan to do as president. It's out there. You just have to seek that information out.
Obama said something once and I want to share it with you here. In one of his speeches, he said, "We all want so badly for there to be change. Real change. For someone to come along, realize how bad things have gotten and to fix it. WE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR. We have to stand up, demand the change to our government that we want to see. No one will do it for us. We have to do it ourselves." And the good news is that we CAN do that.
Yes, we can.
Do some homework, Bran Flakes. I find that the more that people know about Obama, the more impressed they get. "Empty promises" and "Pretty Speeches" are Repub (and lately Clinton) talking points. In light of his actual positions, they just don't hold up.

I'll settle for having companies pay their fair share of the corporate taxes again.
Plus, Obama showed up on Monday Night Raw and said "Do you smell what Barack is cookin'?"
